Thought you were getting your point across!!!

You seem to have changed the format of your newsletter, and it is more difficult to tell when you have a batch of new cartoons. I'm used to seeing a topical cartoon, with a note that basically says: "Click here to see more cartoons on this subject."

Instead, you seem to be featuring columnists.

Would much rather see cartoons.

Some people have too much negativity.  The spirit of the cartoon, not its accuracy, is what counts.  I saw the meaning, and thought it was great!

I saw the cartoon before I read the article and I thought "What a great cartoon- It's amazing how much just the relative size of objects in a cartoon can convey!" Then I read the article and couldn't believe it! I think your sizing was perfect! I don't know what that reader was thinking! That is the whole point of the news story anyway.

I agree with David Parker the perspective to me does not reflect the reality.

How much do you pay Froma for her articles?

More cartoons less talk please.

I'm intrigued.  Now I want to see all the companies lined up by size as fish.  Or, I'll settle for Amazon, MS, Yahoo, AOL, Intel, and Google.  I hope I don't have to start my own research.  You started it.  Show me more.  Thanks.

What does a cartoonist know about fish in the first place?  I mean, they are all chained to their boards and don't ever have a chance to hit the ocean and pull in some fish they could take home and eat if they ever got a chance to fish, which they don't.  And the SIZE of cartoons are now laughable in your friendly morning paper...I know you guys make em big and send em out big, but they end up shrunken down to the size of a postage stamp and they dont come with a magnifying glass.

I think you are all doing a hell-of-a-job and I think you should band together and break those chains and go fishing...but lock your office door or when you come back it may be there...and dont trust management for a second...oh and one more thing...I have always wanted to know...how do you pronounce Berks last name?????

It doesn't matter. It's the nature of the beast. Capitalism The big fish eats the smaller or weaker fish and grows and soon every ones forgets the "gone fish"

I think your fish are just fine.  Remember Omega 3's are good for you, but watch out for the mercury.

I think there is a problem with the sizes related to the logic of your cartoon. Microsoft is eating Yahoo, not because of market share, but because Microsoft is rich and powerful. Google isn't even Microsoft's league on the rich and powerful front. Because of that, it just doesn't seem like the cartoon quite works.

Frank, David : Shocker for ya! It's a CARTOON! Not a PHD thesis at Harvard Business School. Cagle, it's perfect! Love the looks on all their faces- especially AOL who looks like he just realized, he's next!
