The Constitution is not a buffett. You may not pick and choose which part you want on your plate. You must, by it's very nature, take the Constitution in it's entirety. The Supreme Court was correct that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right.

Attempts by any governmental organization, or any other special interest bodies to usurp that right must be repelled in the strongest manner possible. And, for you own personal information, my guns have killed fewer people than Ted Kennedy's car.

Saturday Night Special is a racist term and should not be used in main stream publications.  It was originally Saturday N$%%^r Special, not so funny anymore.  Even less funny is that these cheap guns provided the poor the means to defend themselves from the thieves and brigands who infest their neighborhoods.

Simply, you are an asshole.

Freedom of speech is a right in the constitution and sometimes you get dopes like you mixed in with the good. I think we have alot more good to come out of this ruling.

This cartoon sucks.......

(Ho hum). Another bourgeois limosine liberal. Jimmy Margulies may work for a newspaper in an urban area (Hackensack, NJ), but I'll bet he lives in a gated community in the shruburbs, safely and securely isolated from poor neighborhoods and crime committed with guns.

Whether "Saturday Night Specials" are "OK" or not will likely have zero impact on the quality of Mr. Margulies' sheltered, pencil-pushing existence.

How true, how true!!

Judging from the printed words in his cartoon, Mr. Margulies is at least semiliterate.  The message apparent in his cartoon is the same message ranted by the anti-gun organizations and liberal press for so many years.  If Mr. Margulies would try using his ability to read, he might learn that in the 38 states which have passed "right-to-carry" laws, just the opposite of those predictions have been the norm. Unfortunately, folks like Mr. Margulies aren't usually interested in facts or truth which do not support their personal agendas.

Too bad statistics, and experience prove this cartoon to be incorrect... At least a few of the commentors are informed... Why don't they make journalists(or opinionated cartoonists) read the facts before they are allowed to publish?

ANOTHER TYPICAL LEFT WING ATTACK, NO IMAGINATION , JUST PLAN UNINFORMED DRIVEL

I own a gun, and I believe it IS the right of every citizen of this country to own one.  You disagree with people being allowed to own guns.  Fine.   I will defend to the death your civil right to be stupid in public.
