Connie Schultz's Ohio is my Missouri on drugs.  Within 100 miles of my town I know of three towns that brag that "we burn 'em out" just accross the Mississippi river they say that Anna, (Il.)is an accronym for "Ain't No N#%&*#'& Anywhere".  Intelligent women that I have known and loved for over thirty years believe the horendous email's that they forword to me.  Connis is an intelligent gal, so I ask her, what I cannot figure out.  WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?  Forty years ago, returning to Toledo from a visit to my sister at U of M in Ann Arbor, mom metioned the beautiful black gal my sister was rooming with...my loving father screetched into the rest area to call the dean of women..."you can work with 'em, but you can't live with them".  He was raised in Deleware.  That was 1965....why has not America come of age???  I wish I knew how to fight racisim.
