So much for Obama's promise to bring real change in the White House!

In spite of all the evidence to the contrary, we still hear constant moaning and groaning about the "liberal media." Besides this latest example, they have given George W. Bush the benefit of the doubt and handled him with kid gloves through his 8 years of a miserable performance as president. Enough already!!

OK, I'm tired of this bludgeoning.Sen. Obama has opted for the TRUE form of public financing...allowing the millions of his grassroots supporters to give what they can to his campaign. He has put his faith in the individual small donors who have gotten him to this place.I congratulate him. It is exactly what most of us supporters wanted him to do. As one little American citizen, I want to own a share of the President when he sits in the Oval Office...not oil, the FEC, the healthcare lobby, etc. That is just not acceptable any more. Look what the public financing system has gotten us: eight years of The Swiftboat White House. Subversive, lying propoganda and a gullible electorate has nearly destroyed this nation.Does anyone really think that John McCain would have differently had the situation been reversed? He has been cash poor since the beginning. He'd rather take a handout from the government than get to work and raise his own money.Obama's only transgression was to say he would take public funds before he knew what the people who support him are capable of.Besides, he said he would accept public funding if he and McCain could reach an agreement on a number of issues related to it. They could not. This is a NON-ISSUE. Get over it.The real issue is that McCain is a whiner.Get over it.
