We could also contrast Obama's admitted drug use with that of George "I can't remember if I ever did cocaine" W. Bush, and his conveniently forgotten DWI conviction. Besides the going AWOL and no one ever being able to find evidence he'd ever shown up in Alabama. Funny that the media never looked that close there, either. The difference with Obama is that he admitted his problem. It's there in print, nothing to hide, right? Then again: the media also don't seem to have devoted as much space to Bristol's sex life as they did to John Edwards', & he's not even running, either. None of it really makes sense. Too bad there aren't any issues in this election season. Nothing important for the candidates to debate.

"Then again: the media also don't seem to have devoted as much space to Bristol's sex life as they did to John Edwards', & he's not even running, either."The non-Equirer media studiously avoided Edwards' adultery scandal until he was no longer in the running, but only up for consideration as a member of Obama's cabinet. This resulted in the DNC planners dumping him from the speaker list and replacing him with ... Bill Clinton (!?!?!?). Incredibly funny when you think about it.

Ridge Runner: it will be interesting to see how the "non-Enquirer" media studiously avoid Palin's adultery scandal, Bristols' pretty wild sex life, Track's drug abuse...Darn that liberal MSM.
