Actually Phil, they have known the Earth was round for thousands of years. Columbus sought to find a trade route to India. Hence calling the American natives "Indians." And may I reflect on the fact that NASA is funded by the Bush administration. Although I have heard other statistics from the same organization that beg to differ, and Stephen Hawking the worlds' smartest man was ripped on by spins and smears on Fox News just because he believes in it. Global climate change is a more accurate term than global warming, while I may not be a scientist myself, I would believe them long before I'd believe those who have denounced global warming, long before they came up with false statistics. These are the same people that denounced second hand smoke. Even though Doctors found out about the hazards of smoking in the late 1800's.

"Global warming is a fraud." YOU are a fraud. Global warming is a scientific FACT. Just go to any NASA, ESA or other cinentific sites and you'll have all the data you want. The planet has been warming since the Industrial Revolution, but the last 50-60 years things have escalated to the point we cannot longer to put our heads in the sand.

The water level is really rising.If you believe Al Gore, I have some beachfront property in Nevada that I'd like to sell you.The warm cycle ended almost ten years ago. It will continue to cool for another 10-15 years, before we go into another warming cycle.If the mean temperature went up even half a degree each year, since the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, the oceans would have evaporated by now.Think about it.
